    Default Status of Harris Park?

Anyone know if the range is open. Would like to get up and out of the smog and do little shooting.

I live up in Bailey and Park County is on a burn ban so no shooting at all. Not even plain lead. They told me that applies everywhere in the County even on private property. Sucks.

Boulder County is similar right now- no firearms discharge (with valid hunting excluded) on public and private property.

Its annoying and unfortunate, but you know Cleetus and Jerome are just itching to try their new tracers on some old TVs backed by dead grass and dry brush.

Just confirmed the same from my friend in Bailey as well. What about Jefferson County?

The Como Range is open. Rained all day on Saturday. This is one nice range that they put together. Don't forget to pay your $10.00 the fish and game guy does the rounds as well as Park County Sheriffs. Pay at the hut in the envolopes and dont foget to write down you license plate info or they will fine you another $50.00. The 600 yard range has all kinds of steel animals on it. No steel tips allowed in fear of a fire. I talked to the ranger on Sunday and he said it was getting pritty busy because everyone was getting ready for the seasons to open.

Yeah, pretty much the entire state is under a fire ban right now.
