Thompson/Center TCR22 - Very Impressed

If you are a fan of the Ruger 10/22, and come on, who isn't. I have to say the Thompson/Center version of that platform has really impressed me. Very polished bolt group, great MagPul stock, decent trigger, great peep site. It's an all around pleasure to shoot. My son recently won a Tandemkross Ultimate trigger upgrade kit up at the Colorado State Steel Challenge match designed for the 10/22 basic trigger. I borrowed the trigger group from another 10/22 and swapped out the Tandemkross parts in it, then with that done installed the full upgraded Ruger trigger group in the T/C and made it into fantastically competitive steel challenge, rimfire challenge gun. Ruger mags work flawlessly, and for kicks we mounted an AR-15 brake on it, since we had one lying around. It's ready to rip up rimfire.

Isn't that the gun Ruger was unhappy about?

Kinda ironic coming from the folks who "borrowed" the P3AT design for the LCP.

I've seen a number of TacSol rifles at steel challenge and Rimfire challenges around. Very good guns.
