Sitting in the tree for 7 days. My family has combined about 600 acres and 50 or so tree stands. Nothing fancy here with this one. Watching the wind. Watching my odor (which is hard to do at times) and being patient. I'd like to hash up some exotic story but it ain't so. Patience and superb shot placement is all that it took to seal the deal. The hardest part was watching lesser deer (bucks) walk around for the six days prior and knowing that I had only seven days to get it done. Last day was the one. I got my doe the night prior. I'm just as proud of her in ways. She was mature and a dry sack. I hate killing mommas. Popped her at 10 yards in the neck.

    The end.

31 and I'm a thinker (I like to think). Nothing better to work out your life's problems like being in the woods alone......with guns.

I"m not a thinker. I like to hear dogs chasing my deer and not know if its a buck or a neighbors dog until I shoot it and walk up on it. It like pot luck!!!
