    Default Boulder County renewal..

Emailed in my renewal form and docs on October 1st, got a response from Sheriffs Dept the next day with a link for payment, made my payment and received my new card today, just 14 days later. Never expected that.

Yup- Despite the reputation, the Boulder CCW permit process is pretty responsive. The clerk (Jodi) was extremely helpful when I lost my wallet/permit last summer and got me a new one in just minutes while I waited in the lobby.

Yeah, I asked her if they were doing photos with the covid thing as the pic on my card looks like a mug shot, she responded that they use the same camera that they use for mugshots so it will probably just look like a mugshot again. Lol

One of the very few upsides of this COVID thing is the renewal process. It's been extremely easy and the response times from Jodi is measured more in minutes than hours.
