    Default Snares and Traps.

Animal Traps can be set and checked without much trouble some go in trails some need bait, my main against for them is the weight and the animal may live after catching calling attention to them. This will alert people and other animals to them. I prefer Snares, read up on them learn where to buy, how to set, how to make and where to set them. They can be used for everything from mice to Big Game animals and Livestock even people, most will quick kill and a little less chance to be found by people or animals. Both Traps and Snares will be working for you 24/7 and just need checked at your leisure so to speak. I have both store bought new and also have found the best snare material is 1/4" Aircraft cable, it can be used as is or unraveled and used by single or more strands. I also learned and taught myself how to make natural traps out of materials found in the wild-now this will truly show your worth to get this even kinda right!

If I set traps / snares on my property I'd have to keep the dogs inside until I checked the trap line. One of these dudes is an avid hunter.

Except he tangled with a porcupine again last month. He seems to have a 3-year memory...!

Snares and traps are always a great option. Snare wire is very light. Sets for squirrels will be safe around dogs. I have a few different sizes of wire in my pack for such.
