Default Where to buy bulk ammo

Got several guys all of us want to go in on some ammo. Need about 10k rounds of 223/5.56 55gr. Where can I get this with a discount on shipping. Been serching the net for a couple days and I'm coming up with nothing over 1000. Am I right in thinking there would be a slight discount per 1000 if bought in bulk?

You could pool your money and buy a reloading press and have a party. Supplies are starting to come back around and if you are buying enough for 10000 rounds hazmat fees won't kill you.

Speaking of reloading I went to Tanner this weekend and still can't find powder! What the hell? Anyone know anywhere with a descent supply of powder?

more frequently than not walmarts have had federal 1000 round packs in stock---i saw one at havana and arapahoe the other day--i think it was $379, but don't hold me to that price. that's about the cheapest you're going to get.

for the cheapest online, look at gunbot.net. SGAmmo.com is generally the best deal the i've found. Also consider freedommunitions, too.

Ammo still isn't as plentiful as it was last year, so i can't imagine you're going to get much of a discount in buying 10,000 rounds, which, in the greater scheme of things, isn't that large of an order.

What are you looking for? I stumble onto things from time to time but either don't need it at the time or don't have the cash.

Runnings in Dickinson, North Dakota (it's a large farm store whos sporting goods would rivel most gun stores here) had tubs of 12,500 rounds of .223 for $6,500. Listed as XM855BAR, 62 grain. Drum weighted 360 lbs. I'm not sure if they would ship but they had .223 ammo stacked waist high in a row 3' wide by 20' long in boxes of ever size. Lots of 17hmr, 9,40,45 and all the large caliber hunting rounds. They don't have any 22lr though.
Even saw bricks of 22lr for $35 each n Montana.

Mainly Bullseye, IMR4198, Win231. Same here. I see something but I don't need it, or I see something I want and am broke. And of course, we're right after xmas, so I'm dead broke.

Could get in on a group buy?? Reloading may be the way to go, finding powder at a reasonable price may be hard.
