Jacob put that out, as well as this tidbit. He did post a picture of a few pallets being loaded on a usps truck, a few weeks ago .
There were people actually asking, I placed my order about 2 weeks ago, where is it?
You can't get past their home page w/out having to acknowledge their delivery times.
FREAKuently asked questions:
99% of the questions I get every day can be answered by the huge popup on our website that says READ THIS BEFORE ORDERING!!!
Q: I ordered x bullets once but now I don't see x bullets. Why not?
A: Because we need time to catch up and we don't have enough copper on hand to spread around to 9 different bullets. We're gonna fill all the orders first or get more copper first. Whichever comes first. They will be back again and you'll be the first to know. First.
Q: I ordered something that was in-stock but it isn't on the website anymore. Does that mean it was really on backorder?
A: No! It means we sold everything we had in stock so we took it off the website to avoid thousands of emails asking if you could backorder it. We're now working on shipping out all the stuff that was ordered.
Q: The board shows that stuff I ordered should have shipped by now. Why haven't I gotten it?
A: Because when we work on a certain bullet, we typically do multiple days at a time. For example, last time we worked on 124 FMJ we did like 15 days worth of orders in a single day. It may look like we are 15 days past your date but in actuallity all 15 days shipped on that same day. So, just be patient and your order will likely magically appear at your house (USPS isn't scanning stuff like they used to).
Q: I don't see my order in my account. Did it go through?
A: Most likely it did. We aren't sure why, but for some reason WooCommerce is having issues with accounts right now. We have had our IT guys on it for a couple of weeks. Don't worry, if you have a charge on your card, then we have your order and we are working on filling it. If you have no charge on your card, that means it did not go through.
Q: I placed an order for in-stock items. Why can't you just throw it in a box and send it to me?
A: First, rude. Second, because you aren't the only customer to have bought anything. We have literally thousands of orders to fill and there's only four or five of us packaging. We aren't machines. But we love you so we will try harder.
Q: I want to order but you charge the card up front but don't ship until months later? Why would I buy from you?
A: Please do not order from us if this bothers you. We are trying to keep our production prices lower. They way we are doing that is by buying the lead and copper at the current prices and not at the prices that might be forced upon us in the few months when we are ready to ship your order. Copper has gone insane and could be $1 more per lb in three months. Lots of companies are cancelling backorders. This is why. We are not cancelling backorders because we already paid for the copper and lead when you ordered.
Q: When will x bullet be available to purchase.
A: When it's available to sell. When will the government admit that aliens exist?
Q: Why don't you make primers?
A: I like bullets. That's why we are good at making bullets. Cause for some reason they make me happy. Primers don't make me happy. Wicker baskets don't make me happy either so we probably won't make those. Honestly, I told myself long ago that I want to enjoy my job, not just use my job to get rich. I am not in this to build an empire. I just want to love what I do and unfortunately the government sucks the fun out of anything that has to do with explosives and chemicals. Plus, I'm already overwhelmed.
Q: Why don't you make x?
A: Money.
Q: What do you like?
A: I like Reese's Peanut butter cups/eggs/pumpkins/etc. And Pepsi. And bullets. Oh, and prime rib. Lots of prime rib.
Q: Are you just fishing for treats now?
A: .......I gotta go.
