Default SK rifle match 22lr 40 grain

What does everyone think of this ammo? It looks like it is made in the same factory as Lapua.

My son shoots it for NRA Jr. Smallbore and it works great.

I run the Red box (Match) and the Green box (Pistol Match). Both work great in my bolt gun for the price. I would test it first, as every 22 is different and likes different flavors.

It all depends on your expectations for accuracy and how far you want to shoot. Also, as Delfuego mentioned, what works in one rifle may or may not work in another. Some ammo shoots great to 50 yards and then falls apart beyond that. If you're into long range shooting, there are others that will maintain accuracy better out to 200-300.

I tried a few boxes in several of my .22's and didn't get results good enough to continue testing. SK Long Range seems better in a couple of my rifles, but YMMV.

Short answer, get a brick and see if it meets your expectations. Might be great in your gun.
