What kind of stock did you put this into? Thanks for the insights

The new Vudoo is shooting great. I’d estimate the barrel on it shoots most any type of ammo into groups about half the size of those from my Lila barreled 40x. I broke the bolt stop on it at the first match I took it to. Looked like a MIM part. They sent me a tool steel version as a replacement. Just showed up yesterday. Good customer service.

I’ve been struggling to decide what to do with my 40x. If money were no object I’d probably send it back to Modacam to rebarrel it and have him tune up the extractors and then build it up into a complete rifle again. It’s currently in the safe as a barreled action. Not sure I need a sixth .22 trainer, but it’s got a little sentimental value. Decisions, decisions.
    What barrel didn’t shoot well?

I’ve always felt that my 40x was ‘cross eyed’ in that rail and bore were not pointed in the same direction, so if zero’d at 50, it would print left at 200. Plus, if left for more than a few minutes, the first shot was low in MV, even with CX ammo. Between those two, it gave me enough head trash not to trust it for comps. Now, it might be that I’m really bad at reading wind, but the first shot thing happened enough with long range shots and LabRadar data that I believed it.

I have a Lilja1-9/CZ457 that I’m working up that seems to have the potential to not be a nail driver. Looking to work it up some more this week. If the 40X becomes a show piece and plinker, I’m fine with that.

I didn’t mean to say the Lilja on my 40x doesn’t shoot well. It shoots great. I shot my 40x in countless matches and did very well with it. The new Vudoo seems to shoot everything I’ve tried in it significantly better, which in my mind is quite an accomplishment.

My 2 lug and 360 shoot about the same. The 2 lug has an ACE barrel and the 360 has a Bartlien. My single shot is headed this way. It has a Shilen Ratchet barrel.

You're referring to a single shot Vudoo? It'll be interesting to see how the Ratchet shoots.

I sure wish our other Ratchets would show up...

Yup. A single shot Vudoo. Right bolt, left port. Shilen Ratchet MTU contour. By the time I put it in a Cerus F-Class stock it will be a heavy pig.

    Got it in Friday.

O2HeN2 and I were fondling it.

I threw a Bix and Andy 2 ounce trigger in it last night. So far, very impressed.
