6.5 PRC Shooters

I?m considering building a 6.5 PRC to have a new caliber to work with. I?ve been looking at Defiance XM length actions because they allow loading long without the size and bulk of a long action. The problem is the XM really limits choices in mags and stocks/chassis. Has anyone been working with one on a short action? I was thinking short action and maybe .130 throat to allow more bullet options, although I wouldn?t be able to shoot Hornady factory ammo.

Anyone have a short action 6.5? How is it working out for freebore and bullet jump at short action mag length? The short action really opens up options for stocks and mags.

I have two 6.5prc?s and they are super easy and forgiving to load for. I?d go short action and call it good.
