I had no opportunity to garden this year. Despite that, our Honeycrisp apple tree had a bumper crop....and it was promptly devoured by 100,000 Japanese beetles.
Our peach tree had a massive amount of peaches- so much so that some branches were bent nearly double. The peaches weren't very big this year, but we were going to start harvesting within a week...and a massive branch broke. So we harvested about 1/2 bushel tonight- many aren't fully ripe yet, but I'll spread them out on the countertop to let ripen and I'll make spiced peach jam.
