Our cooking oil had doubled before this. I don't want to see the bill when I have to buy again.

    This shrinkflation is getting crazy.

This weekend I brought my son to get a starkiss popsicle thing at DQ. The popsicle stick was so short (less than an inch) he could hardly hold it. I figured it was a weird DQ thing.

Then, later this weekend my daughter was given a bombpop after her baseball game. That too had an unusably short stick. Then it dawned on me, shrinkflation. Cost are SO high, popsicle sticks have shrunk. Wow.

Well, with lumber prices being what they are would you be willing to pay $13 for those frozen goodies just to have a longer handle?

So true. I bought some lumber Sunday. Ouch.

But dang, when a 4 year old is only given an inch of popsicle stick, he ends up wearing a lot more popsicle on his hands than he would with a longer holding device.

Having raised two kids myself I can?t imagine having a three foot long stick would have kept my kids any cleaner. Messy little buggers.
