I'm shooting in the biannual Big Ben Blast and Dash match at Ben Lomond Gun Club this weekend. I'm bringing a buddy who is active Air Force to the match but need to help him get his personal rifle zeroed and get a little pistol coaching/shooting in prior to the match.

If you would be willing to guest us in to CCGC this week (Thursday or Friday) I would be eternally grateful, gift you 100 rounds of factory 9mm for your time/trouble, and if you're interested, offer you pistol coaching as well.

I'm a licensed CCW instructor and a very high performing shooter including a division win at the Blast and Dash match last year (1st place Armored division, 6th overall out of ~100 shooters) and I'm a consistent podium finisher with numerous overall match wins and division wins over the past 5+ years. I can help you diagnose issues with fundamentals, tune up your grip/stance/trigger press, help you build an at home dryfire routine, or whatever it is you want to work on at the range.

WOW...I didn't realize the range at Cherry Creek had gone private? When did that happen?

I believe he's referring to the small private indoor range off south Clinton, not the shooting complex at the state park.

The range in the state park has changed ownership in terms of the concessionaire contract, but it is still very much open to the public.

You guys are discussing two different ranges:

1. Cherry Creek Reservoir State Park - privately operated public range open to the public.
2. Cherry Creek Gun Club - private range open only to members and their guests.
