Well, the water heater is 15 years old and still going strong - but I figure I'll replace it now - rather than wait for it to fail.
Any recommendations on plumber/company doing water heater replacement in Colorado Springs?

This should be interesting - sort of looking myself - but bradford white prices I spotted make me afraid.

If you just need help replacing one, I'm in. If you're a rule follower... I could make suggestions.

It's a measure of the civility in this country that no ones seems to fear constantly pissing off the people who own lots of guns.
Last time we had a water heater shit the bed was on a Christmas morning several years ago. That was a 'spensive ordeal! So being proactive is a good thing, if you can.

The problem with that brand is the difficulty in replacing the sacrificial anode. Most models I have seen has it on the hot water pickup. Meaning, the hot line needs to be removed to replace it.
Most people never replace the rod anyway, or even know what it is so it's not a problem for them.
