Default Springfield Prodigy- You can't have one

Double stack 1911. Pretty sweet looking gun.

Three magazine sizes 17, 20 and 26. Uh oh.

It says right on the website, "This firearm is not legal in Colorado."

10 other states as well. That list keeps getting longer.

Just cause Springfield won't ship it doesn't mean someone else won't.

That thing takes standard 2011 style mags that were around well before the Colorado 15 round mag limit law.

Also, since when have people NOT been able to buy high cap mag pistols in Colorado? Walk into your local gun store and look at what they are selling.

You might be surprised what you can find in some gun shops..or not. Saw both the 5” and 4” just today though neither had magazines in them so can’t say what capacity they were. Not really interested-I’m just an old fart single stack 1911 kind of guy.

The two I saw were just under msrp at $1489.99 I've had a Staccato in the past, smooth shooter but just didn't do it for me. Honestly the I liked the feel of the grip of the Prodigy better than the Staccato.

Of course it's legal, it's the magazine limits that aren't legal.
