Default need help trueing a scope to a new mount

I have a new mount for a 30mm tubed scope that I need trued to the mount. If someone here has a doohicky, whether it's shims or some sort of jig, I'd appreciate the assist. I'll come to you, anytime, anywhere in El Paso county/springs. I'd rather not pay a smith for the work.
Please PM me here if you can assist.
    Thanks!

I’ve been procrastinating mounting several scopes for a while myself.

    It looks easy on youtube…

I must be missing something.. If it's a one piece mount, what's there to do? Mount the mount to the gun, put the scope in the mount, level the mount/gun, set your front/back position, level the scope, tighten it down.

Yeah, that’s why I asked if it was a one piece mount.

Battlemidget, exactly what do you mean by “trued to the mount”?

One piece mounts are typically machined pretty true and require no additional work.

Used a bubble level as best I could but it still feels off. I'm looking for some sort of mechanical 'trueing' between the flat bottom of the scope and the flat part of the mount, like a wedge kit or similar.

How much space is there between the top of the mount surface and the bottom of the flat of the turret of the scope? I have one of those arisaka leveling wedge kits if you'd like to try that, but have found that it's not super awesome with some of the AR mounts as there's not enough space to get the tool in there. Plumb-bob is always good too.
