It is my belief that you would be able to handle yourself and your compadres safely and without incident.

I don?t know you, we haven?t met before, but reading into your post I am not sure why you would even ask this question. I don?t want to start a dumb Internet fight. That is not my intention at all. But can you go out for an evening without strapping up? I love guns I have tons of guns but I don?t need to go out packing every single moment.

Gun safety is and should be paramount to all that carry and use firearms. We know that as a forum and individuals. Would you be safe on opioids and pulling your weapon. Is there a possibility your judgment would be off and a horrible accident might incur? I think innately you knew the answer to your question before you posted or you would not have asked for validation.

I understand the argument, what if some Jack wagon starts acting the fool and you need to be armed for your safety. I get it but the bigger question is for a responsible gun owner, what?s the safest thing for the 99.9% of the people.

Im am sure this is moot because the event is passed. But, food for thought, if you did carry when you went out, was it the wisest move?
I?m not picking a fight with you and I?m someone who chooses not to carry a lot of the time and tries to rely on smart choices and decisions to keep me safe.

That being said, are there really places to go where there aren?t risks these days? I bet there are people in Boulder who thought buying groceries at King Soopers during normal daylight hours was a perfectly safe thing to do.

Although I make my own decisions about when and where I carry, I can?t fault anyone for carrying anywhere or any time these days. You just never know when that place or activity that should be perfectly safe is going to turn into a shit show in the blink of an eye.
