Default Shipping a firearm back to the manufacturer.

I need to ship a rifle back to the manufacturer.
Can I still ship via USPS or does it need to go through an FFL? I know FedEx and ups require an FFL to ship.

If I can ship via usps, can the manufacturer ship it back to my home address?

    Appreciate any info.

get the mfg ffl copy go to ups, or fedhex with paperwork. Pay exorbitant fees for their use. Did the mfg send you a RMA, yet. That info and a shipping label from them should cover any issues.

    Thanks for the info.
Working on the rma, but they asked for the address where the firearm will be shipped from/to and I wasn't sure what that would be.
Sounds like it can be my address.

Yes, you can ship direct, no need to use an FFL. If the firearm is going in for warranty work the manufacturer should be sending you a shipping label.

That's for their records. As well as them having an address to return the rifle back. With signature required, of course. The entire process is easier than most people think, or make it to be.

I shipped my CZ rifle via FedEx. They gave me a pre-printed label and the only thing they asked was that it be shipped in a box that did not have any outward indication that it was a firearm. No FFL needed and they FedEx'ed it back to me. Since it was "signature required" I just picked it up at the FedEx office off of Belleview and Santa Fe behind Lowe's.
