The season is 14 days beginning Oct. 1st in the unit where I live, and moose often move through or hang out in the yard. My friend Irving will also be hunting cow moose, but he has a muzzleloader tag for 9 days beginning Sept. 9. We'll be looking for a couple of big dry cows.
Congrats. I too get to go on along on a cow moose black powder hunt. My neighbor drew the tag and has asked me to go along to help. Looking forward to some more moose meat.
