I’m a big fan of .22 LR firearms. Pistols, revolvers and rifles. I was doing my weekly browse of my LGS (Prairie Sporting Goods) used/consignment offerings and a two-tone Bersa Thunder in .22 LR caught my eye. Dan (the Man) made me an offer I couldn’t refuse and out the door I went with my new toy. My thoughts were, if it was a POS, I could get it to work and just use it as a truck/car gun. A quick cleaning and off to the range I went. A few magazines of my peanut butter jar of mixed manufacture test ammo went without a hitch. I was impressed with the smooth and crisp trigger-pull and ease of the control functions. For a sub $300 ($289.99 at a few shops locally) pistol, not bad! Accuracy was decent, I had no problems hitting the 8” plates at 25 yards and just for S&G, backed off to the 50 yard line and popped a magazine off at the rack. Satisfying and made me grin. Definitely worth looking at. Gets my thumbs up for Best Bang for the Bucks.
