Default Form 1 SBR - Denver

A Co-Worker was inquiring to me today about turning some stripped AR lowers into SBR's.

Unfortunately he lives in Denver City Limits and Denver County. Would the forms be approved by the ATF? What about CLEO notification?

Denver county and Denver city are the same border limits, no difference. Denver Police are the police force in charge of arrests. Denver sheriff office only does the jail system and prisoners. Not sure if the sheriff are same level peace officer as dpd.

ATF change in form 41f (iirc) changed requirements of needing chief LEO sign off to just notifying chief LEO. Should be approved no problem by BATFE.

edit to add: Using a kiosk system like silencer shop does all the paperwork for you f you have prints and picture ready to go. It is a very easy system.

He can have the CLEO notification go to CSP Col. Packard if he wanted to. Its just a notification, not a sign off.
