I am looking at upgrading and lightening my wife's hunting rifle. Faxon is about the least expensive option I have found. How are their match grade barrels? Midway has a sale on them, so it appears to be a good option.

Much depends on what rifle your wife is using. Does a light weight hunting barrel need to be a match barrel? Criterion, Walther Lothar and other make prefit barrels.
light weight, match and least expensive don't play will together. Lightness adds free recoil.
Buy her a used Kirby vacuum to get her muscles built up.
I like sex, drugs and automatic weapons. That's why i'm a dues paying member of the Libertarian party. Struggling to keep the government away from messing with the above.
My Wife has her own vice.
It does not need to be match grade, that is just the one on sale. I am looking at a 6.5 grendel for her. She prefers the AR style rifle over bolt. She is currently using a 300 blk, but I would prefer her to be in a 6.5. Her 300 blk has a heavy barrel, she states it feels to forward heavy. She really likes her pencil barrel .223 and shoots it quite well, hence moving to a lighter barrel.
Faxon makes a fine barrel and you will easily get right around 1MOA with most of the available loads, to include the American Gunner that (used to be) available pretty cheaply. Better will require hand loads.
9mm - because they don't make a 9.1mm
