Default Updated Dash Camera recommendation for 2023?

My wife hit a road hazard on the interstate last week. Camera footage would not have changed the insurance collision claim, so far as I'm aware, but we are once again considering a dash camera.

The threads on the subject I found when searching are several years old, so I'm starting a new one asking for recommendations.

I'm looking for something that provides clear video for the front of the vehicle. A rear camera would be nice, but I'm not as interested in the rear because I don't currently have the desire to run 20 foot of wire to connect the two cameras. There is power in the back of the vehicle, so two separate systems front and rear is more appealing than a linked package at the moment.
I don't think we care about sound or GPS.
Ease of use and reliability is important, if it's hard to tell when it's actually on and working she's not likely to check and fix an issue. Easy retrieval of recordings ranks pretty high on the list as well.
    Never complain; never explain.

I'm considering one as well, but I want something small, without a screen. I don't want it to be something very noticeable so it's my evidence only. I drive a bright orange car that sounds fast even when it isn't going fast.just want something that can disappear into a glove box if it needs to.

Considering one also. Few weeks back I was directly behind an accident & watched a woman being ejected from her vehicle. Would've appreciated having that recorded. There was so much going on I don't think the detectives ever sorted the impetus from witness statements.

Rendered aid until the paramedics arrived but never found out if she made it or not.

Crutchfield has some easy choices. Garmin mini for that super tiny size.

The Garmin 67W has some pretty good reviews. I have a couple of Garmins that are so old I can't find much on them.

    Voifo.

I’ve had a front/rear setup for about 3 years. Looking to upgrade with their higher resolution camera.
