Buying in person can sometimes mean the premium of not having to wait for it to be shipped. For only $5 difference, I'd chalk it up to not having to wait and not consider it gouging.

I have just recently got into buying guns, I have bought 4 in the past few months. I have went to two gun shows during this time and maybe i was totaly wrong for assuming this but I expected a better deal price wise at the gun shows. What I found was 90% of the guns and ammo being sold at the show was priced more then local retail stores. Then add the $7.00 to get in and having to fight your way past everyone looking for deals that are few and far between. I was disappointed to say the least.
There were some very reasonable sellers there like J&J Enterprises. Jay has very good prices on his guns but for the most part in my opinon guns shows are only good for people watching.

Hehh, all these shows started out years ago as a way to get great bargains. Then of course once everyone knew you'd get great bargains at the shows, the vendors could increase the pricing. Gun shows, computer shows, they're all like that.

I look at them as a way to easily play with a bunch of different guns for a few hours, for 8 bucks. And maybe find something once in a great while.
