    Default 30rd glock 40cal mags

bought the 30rn mag for the glock 40cal aftermarket mags, Glock dont make one for the 40 but they do for the 9mm.

Man what a pice of junk, took it out to the range and it jam every round, when i loaded the mag the spring was stiff and it was hard to put ammo in it after the 10th rd. I pay $30 for it at the tanner gun show. I wish glock would come out with one for the 40's, so if who ever own a glock in 40cal and want a 30 rd mag dont buy it. cheep korean made S%#!.

Well how many times did you try it? Maybe it will work out the kinks after 5 full mags or something?

If it doesn't say Glock on the mag don't try to run it in a Glock, period. They've all been tried and all found to not work. Glocks run with Glock mags and only glock mags.

If you want more mag capacity, Arredondo, Dawson, and Taylor Freelance all make mag extensions for Glock mags that will extend the mag and work. Taylor Freelance even makes a 170 mm extension that can be used on a 40 cal mag. It will get you +8 on a G22 mag with addition of the extension and changing the spring to a Wolfe extended +10% strength spring. That's as good as you're going to get right now.

    I own 3 Scherer mags 29 rnd in 40, and 3 Glock mags 33 rnd in 9mm.

So far the Scherer mags have been perfect with no problems at all.

One of the factory Glocks I got new , I had to take apart and deburr two corners where the metal liners meet in the middle, the follower would stick.

Like anything, just the luck of the draw I imagine!
