You have no idea the fun involved with undoing the fun when somebody did that.
The action was saved, the stock……not so many much.

Wipe it all down with acetone first, then use JB Weld as your "bedding compound". Use 2x more than you need, since when it oozes out you can just use a dremel to cut off the extra.
