BigBear - The wife (of 6.5 mos) and I are trying too... maybe we should correspond. Seems my wife is getting a bit "psychotic" regarding the prep stuff...things I won't post here for obvious life expectancy reasons - (MINE)!

Funkfool - Just PM Sir. I'd be happy to correspond.
Everyone else - Last nights' dinner: Venison steak (a friend of mine is a true blood Indian, goes hunting with his dad and preps the meat traditionally, very tender and tasteful), taters, homegrown green beans, steamed and buttered carrots/broccolli, and homemade (from scratch) Blueberry Cheesecake with vanilla bean ice cream! yum...
Tonights Dinner:
Due to our schedules, we rarely get an opportunity to enjoy beakfast in the morning, so... from time to time we have "Breakfast Night".
While we hadn't actually scheduled tonight as Breakfast Night, we were struggling to come up with something to make for dinner. After about an hour, my wife suggested I make her my "Bird's Nest". This is a medium skillet filled across the bottom with freshly grated potato hash browns with finely chopped onions (the wife REALLY likes onions) and seasoned with a touch of garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper.
After years of practice, I have the chef skillet flip down to flip the hash browns over to brown on the other side.
Once the potato's are done, I slide them onto a plate and then slide one or two fried eggs onto the center over the top.
Wallah! A Bird's Nest.

So you don't even have to import anything from China for hundreds of dollars? Sounds like a great deal!

Congrats on the good woman ,Lord knows I went through a few till I found a keeper. Found her on an IPSC range about 7 yrs ago.
Our LR is maybe 14x14...and shes never complained about the 1050 in the corner or the ever rotating green ammo cans. What more could you ask for?![]()

Just got back from vacation- celebrated my 20th anniversary on the island of Kauai.. I now have been married to the same woman for over half my life.. (I know some of you are cringing at the thought)
but I feel blessed as well!
Congratulations!
It took me a while to find a keeper, but I'm glad I waited. I'm closing on 13 years, and I wouldn't change it.

Well Congratulations to the both of you (and to your spouses as well). I celebrated (er, hmm) my 21st last Nov 1. It's a lot of years, and never all fun and joy, but if you can find a person that you can put up with their crap - and more importantly, who can put up with yours, you're blessed for sure.

It took me 15 years to figure out my first wife was not for me (I'm a slow learner).
My current wife and I are going to celebrate our 11th anniversary next month.
This one's a keeper!
