Finally snagged a Vive used off ebay - with the deluxe audio strap and cooling fans for $350. Very easy to enter at that price point - much more reasonable than ~3 years ago. You could even get into pro pretty reasonable by going the ebay/facebook marketplace route.

It's definitely different from any gaming experience I've ever had. If you've got the floor space, I can tell you having one will be a hit with anyone that comes to visit. For something that originally was closer to $900, this is just a reminder to ya'll with decent computers that since the Vive is getting close to launching their third generation (Cosmos?), the prices have fallen into a realm I at least feel is incredibly reasonable for what they are.

I haven't played any "gun games" yet - I'm not overly attracted to those tbh. Archery stuff is fun as heck though.

Ones I have / love so far:
Skyrim - Modded (Getting stuff that surprises you with a bow is awesome, mods update the game to more modern graphics)
Beat Saber
The Lab (Archery game, space invaders game)
Ritchie's Plank Experience (this is intimidating when you use a real board, I set it up and it still "got" me hard)
Google earth VR... how they made some of their 3d models is beyond me from sat imagery. They have the shapes of all the vehicles plus they properly 3D modeled a LADDER leaning against the house, and the sofits. It's beyond impressive, and scary. Boulders, trees, buildings, terrain, all of it is 3d modeled in VR.

And quite a few more.
