Quitting Before Deployment: In early 2005, as his unit prepared for mobilization to Iraq, Walz abruptly quit, leaving his fellow soldiers without leadership. His rationale—claiming he needed to retire to run for Congress—has been challenged by the retired sergeants major, who argue he could have sought permission to run while remaining in service.

Also I?ve had enough bad run ins with CSMs to never vote for one.

The Divisional CSM and myself did not get along. He first got upset when I negated his "request" to chapter out a fatboy E5 with an MOS density of one on a 15,000 soldier installation. This mindless thought process perfectly fit his 11Z50 background. I also had to order him out of my AO after he had a Super Karen hissy fit about my UM84 being in lefty crossdraw configuration (Well, because I am lefty and my promask is where my strongside holster should go).

Yeah, some of them are sketchy. I am sure Waltz fits the bill...

The guy's record is as far left as can be. This is being described as the most far left ticket in history- by both sides.

The left thinks it's great as an affirmation that their views are becoming more palatable and mainstream.

The right thinks it's great because it will be easily defeated once people realize the policy positions of the candidates.

Walz just came out as anti 1st Amendment and wants the power to "shut down" (and possibly even prosecute) speech he disagrees with.

So if they get "elected," perhaps one day American citizens will have homes raided over an objectionable meme they shared, as in Germany and the UK.
