Malfunctioning furnace? Double suicide? Murder suicide? I don't know how big of a tent is "not foul play".

Maybe Alec Baldwin was down in Santa Fe for a visit?

    EDIT-
    https://apnews.com/article/gene-hack...7b35c1b956a5c8
Hackman, 95, was found dead Wednesday in a mudroom and his 63-year-old wife, Betsy Arakawa, was found dead in a bathroom next to a space heater, Santa Fe County Sheriff’s Office detectives wrote in a search warrant. There was an open prescription bottle and pills scattered on a countertop near Arakawa.

CO (not to be confused with Colorado) was the absolutely first thing that jumped to mind when I read about all three of them being dead and no foul play suspected.

Deputies noted that it appeared Arakawa had “obvious signs of death, body decomposition, bloating in her face and mummification in both hands and feet” when she was found on the floor of a bathroom near the home’s entry, according to the report.

Looks like they had been dead a couple of weeks before being discovered.

Big fan of Gene Hackman. My favorite line from The Unforgiven, "The Duck of Death".

Actor Gene Hackman died of heart disease a full week after his wife died from hantavirus in their New Mexico hillside home, and he may not have been aware she was dead because he showed severe signs of Alzheimer’s disease, authorities revealed Friday.

“Mr. Hackman showed evidence of advanced Alzheimer’s disease,” Jarrell said. “He was in a very poor state of health. He had significant heart disease, and I think ultimately that’s what resulted in his death.”

Whoa- didn't see that one coming. Poor guy. Getting old sucks.
