The post I missed, looked thru a ton of the Reddit threads(and hours of various forums) before I ordered mags.

Neither the mag well or base plates are such that mods would be a good idea.

If I were to start over, I would have probably waited for the Tisas to drop to the price is now for $500+/-

I don't know how they'd handle the mag situation.

FYI - PSA will now remove mags and ship pistol, too bad they were 6 months too late for me.
