A $2000 gun is a lot to lose in case you have to drop it in a river. Plus, a legally purchased gun and suppressor leave an easily followed paper trail.
He smacks the slide a couple of times. It looks like he is tried to get it to go to battery. That's not the way a station six is operated. Pushed forward and then turned, locking like a rifle boat.
Also, when the gun it fired, smoke comes out of the center of the gun, like a normal slide operated semi-auto.
