    Default Governor Weiser?

The race for '26 has begun.

Democrat Phil Weiser is midway through his second term as Attorney General. Over his six years in the office he made a name for himself fighting the first Trump administration in court, as well as suing opioid manufacturers and social media companies.

Other potential Democratic candidates for governor in 2026 include Colorado Secretary of State Jena Griswold; U.S. Rep. Joe Neguse; U.S. Rep. Jason Crow; and Ken Salazar, the U.S. ambassador to Mexico.

    Giffords likes him.

Since taking office Attorney General Weiser has worked tirelessly to combat the continuing threat of gun violence to ensure his constituents remain safe.

Throughout his career, Attorney General Phil Weiser has shown a steadfast commitment to finding solutions that will combat the epidemic of gun violence and promote gun safety.

    So does Everytown.

"Governor Polis, Lieutenant Governor Primavera, Attorney General Weiser, and Secretary of State Griswold have had our back in office, and come November, we'll have theirs too," said Shannon Watts, founder of Moms Demand Action. "Time and again they have put public safety over the profits of gun manufacturers, and there will be a grassroots army of Moms Demand Action and Students Demand Action volunteers making sure they?re back in office fighting for us."

Sadly he will be well funded if the rumors of Bloomie buying a mansion in Colorado are true. Sigh.

Hopefully the trend of 2A support continues growing amongst liberals… one would think that if they’re truly concerned about a fascist dictator taking over later this month, they’d actually want to keep and bear arms themselves…. Seems like their logic is a bit “off”, but we already knew that around here.

Polis the Gay is a better Governor than that activist clown.

More importantly, is anyone on the R side being groomed at all? Is the Colorado Republican party going to throw out yet another party insider that everyone can equally hate?

    No one who can win.

Colorado Republican party leadership is a joke. As long as Dave Williams is party chairman "the republicans" will loose and the money will be squandered. The state central committee is an embarrassment.

So what does it take to get rid of the party chairman?

No doubt the state GOP will role out some weirdo with no chance of winning anything, but passes all of the purity tests.

Exposing his and central committee's unethical actions, poor leadership and self enrichment.

Organise members of party, start at neighborhood level caucuss, work up through county committees until have a strong majority of county committees and state legislators.

Then use rules/bylaws of party/committee to oust him.

Pretty much the last thing republicans want to spend their time, money, effort on.
