Look for ammo purchase and storage restrictions and a licensing scheme.

The ammo limits will also be implemented by insurance carriers for fire hazard reasons.

Back in the 90s, Biden proposed that any household with 20 or more firearms or 1,000 or more rounds of ammunition must be required to hold a yet to be created federal "arsenal license" and be subject to random inspections by BATF.

He also wanted to totally ban civilian possession of surplus ammo cans, widely used for storage of tools or fishing tackle.

I watched him state this before Congress on CSPAN2... then, within days, it went down the memory hole and no-one ever spoke of it again.

Just a FYI on what we will be looking at with any kind of AWB.

Ironically, if one passes... maybe this is the one that should. A neutered AWB is almost a guarantee, SCOTUS will deny CERT.

This pile of monkey poop, it is much, much more likely that SCOTUS would intervene. (and maybe the 10th would recognize that and proactively cut it down to prevent the precedence, which I've seen before).

Anyway.... wish I had a crystal ball. I'd take the hit for 3-6 years if it guaranteed AWB's got shitcanned for the rest of our future.

As a side note, someone needs to start making handguns with an internal 50+ round capacity. Just so they introduce legislation banning firearms that take brass cartridges.

(PR57 has an internal 20 round, fed by strippers, just like Hunter) https://www.keltecweapons.com/firearm/pistols/pr57/

Sometimes the best way to prevail is to let your opponent show their full can of crazy.
Honestly, this law isn't much different than the California bullet button law and there haven't been any lawsuits that have cracked that one. I think this is the reason why they altered course and went for the fixed magazine issue vs the usual assault weapons evil features track.

This needs to be reversed. No signature or veto should equal a veto. This coward's rule needs revision
