I know professional athletics are not popular topics on shooting forums, but this is a shocker to this lifelong Denver sports fanboy.

Less than two seasons removed from winning the championship and currently playoff-bound with the best player in the NBA.

Even with the recent ill-timed losing streak, something else had to be going on behind the scenes.

Lifelong Nuggets fan. Not a Malone fan but this certainly was unexpected. The timing is odd for sure.

No idea where they go from here. My guess is they have someone in mind already.

Likely to jettison a few bigger name players like Porter and Murray to try to get a better fit with Jokic.
