Default RMGO vs options to where to put support

Haven't been a fan of Dudley, but last year I thought that the worst (best) thing I could do to the gun grabbers was enable Dudley to harrass them more. So went 'all in' and did a lifetime membership, because I hate doing yearly payments. One and done ... but I just got a notice from them that my membership has EXPIRED, with me actually dying... I really don't care, I hope my money went to some impact- sure doesn't seem so this year. I think I'm done with RMGO.

Since we are getting more attention for our laws, I see groups like FPC (Firearms Poilicy Center) getting involved and filing law suits. I'd rather put money into law suits that trying to push the spaghetti noodle of getting lefty legislators to not be lefty. Not that SCOTUS seems ready to do anything soon.

    What groups are people supporting?

I follow FPC on instagram, they appear to be filing the most law suits for 2A abuses across the nation. I like their blunt ?Fuck Off, NO!? messaging. Quit being nice to these people infringing your rights. They hate you. No amount of reaching across the aisle is going to change things.

That's the plan. Kids schooling is about over and the wife's job just went mercenary- we aren't tied here anymore. I want to get our before the kids come back after college and try to raise a family here.

I've lost all confidence and hope in SCOTUS. Maybe they will take down AWB/mag laws, but look at all the other stuff that they are throwing up. Then, if you ever actually have to defend your family- save the last bullet for yourself- the courts will take your life anyways.

And that doesn't even touch the social and tax issues.

CSSA is the Colorado chapter of the NRA formwhat it’s worth. I think they were part of getting the Boulder County assault weapons ban overturned.

Other than that national groups like the SAF and the FPC are involved in a lot of state issues across the country. The problem is that most of the pro 2A groups these days focus on legal action after the fact, there aren’t really any good lobbying groups anymore that can end a bill before it even begins.

I think here in CO, the lobbying option is dead. Maybe you slightly less worse with Polis pulling some strings- but with Bennet or even worse with the Weisman of what ever his name is I don't see any chance at moderation.

where were all of them over the past 13 years? Nowhere near Colorado, that's for sure. RMGO is the only group that's even attempted to do anything here.

RMGO did attempt to shoot us in the foot (and succeeded) several times. Sometimes "nothing" is better than "something" if something is a dim bulb, and RMGO normally doesn't shine.

The cases they did file have been ones before courts guaranteed to make things even worse for us. Then there is the whole magazine ban debacle. All in all, at least it got some money in Dudley's pocket, I suppose, so at least somebody benefited.
