And President Trump might convey through US diplomats that the USA could easily provide Ukraine with modern nuclear weapons capable of eliminating not only the Russian contingent in Ukraine, but the Kremlin and all of the Russian military including it's land based nuclear assets. Checkmate.

Do you really think that millions of militant Muslims are just going to throw down their AK's and embrace the local Jews contrary to at least a century of institutional antisemitism?

Nonsense. Ceasefires do not erase ideology.

They may have been seriously hurt but they are far from beaten. Even if Iran changes political direction, there are still plenty of militants to cause continued disruptions in the region- and across the world.

The US and Israel damaged the hornet's nest, but the hive is very much alive and exterminating all of them is incredibly difficult and unlikely.
