Default CCW at a School question

Ok....so our church is looking at renting a private school for regular church services on sundays when the school is not in session. Would we have issues with people who CCW having possession of a firearm on school grounds being in violation of the laws about possession on school property?

CCW is not allowed in any public or private schools.

Legally, that's complicated... but, due to the overall circumstances, it could be argued that Sundays are fine, since the church is renting the building and classes are not in session. However, the church probably is allowed to designate certain members as "security" which covers you better if there's an issue. At the end of the day, it mostly comes down to what paperwork was filed and if the pastor granted you permission I guess. If the teachers are unlicensed and the building is not registered as a school, it's probably a non issue.

No. There are no security features in place.

Well, as long as no-one sees it, you're fine.

In the unlikely event you use it to stop an active shooter, no prosecutor would take that to court.
