Robert Youens Setting Record for Great Loop 16' Jon Boat

For those intrepid boaters that have not heard.
Robert Youens is circumnavigating the Great Loop in a 16 foot Jon Boat and is on the downhill run.

He is 71 years old, a cancer survivor, has done the Northwest Passage and back in the Jon Boat, paddled the Mississippi in a canoe, and multiple other adventures as detailed on his Facebook page.
People who are familiar with the Great Loop are following him, Lock Masters are giving him priority, and he has been granted exemption from speed limits from the admins since his boat at full speed leaves less wake then it would at slower speeds.
To me, it is an inspirational journey that is providing a positive story in today's world.
