This may seem shocking, but most of my friends are Liberal... but they are old skool GenX Liberal with the same values and ethics they had from the 1980s. The Progressive (Marxist) Left accuses them of being "Right wing" bigots and TERFs. That is how far the goalposts have moved over the past decade.

Same here, Clint. I limit political comments with liberal friends but will fervently defend 2A and hunting issues. While I've met quite a few of the marxist, so called progressives, none will be my friend.

That's be a liberal born between 1965-1980 (ish). The reference seems to indicate someone of that specific generation that maintains the more "traditional" liberal values without the extremist beliefs/attitudes/actions that are quite prevalent in the Gen Y and later generations.

Boomer parents beat the stupid outta us, gave us housekeys, and left us to fend for ourselves... common sense became a survival mechanism, lol.

Kids today are raised by strangers via the smartphones they constantly gaze into, while teachers fill their heads with diversity, equity, and "it's great to cut yer tallywhacker off" nonsense.

My parents are liberal, used to be "moderate liberal" and generally still are - however, media has influenced them so greatly they are at best, confused liberals. They are anti more than two gender, they are anti censorship, pro 2nd amendment, but they hate anything Trump, they hated Musk, they hate all the cabinet picks, etc., and they believed there was an insurrection and Biden won fair and square. They argue with me about why I could support anything "Republican", even ask me how I, as a professed Christian, could support such people... The last time I voted Democrat was for Bill Clinton's first term, I was young, influenced by the media, didn't really talk about it in the USAF (politics), and made my decision based on the lies that man told... Now, I vote Republican/Conservative 100% of the time, not because I support every Republican politician or Conservative idea, but because I believe in the Constitution, and I am pro 1st and 2nd amendment. Generally liberal in that I really don't give a crap who you sleep with, what your background is, or who you vote for, but I don't want you to take MY rights or those of my family away. Growing up in the late 70's and 80's, I would've believed myself to be more "moderate liberal" - but today, I'd be classified as a bible thumping, gun toting deplorable who loves 80's and 90's metal LOL!!!

ABC said it was pulling the 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!' show off the air 'indefinitely' after controversial comments by its host about the slain conservative activist Charlie Kirk.

"The MAGA Gang desperately trying to characterize this kid who murdered Charlie Kirk as anything other than one of them and doing everything they can to score political points from it," Kimmel said.
"In between the finger-pointing, there was grieving," he added.

    Cancel culture lives.

Or, is it just a convenient excuse for getting rid of a $16 million a year contract?

I'm all for getting rid of that a-hole, but damn... Freedom of speech doesn't protect him on a show, though it's a fine line... They allowed a lot of other crap to come out of his upper orifice... I'd say it's a convenient excuse to go back on the $16m a year deal - damn, that guy ain't worth $16m a year IMO.

Which leads to this thought - if this administration keeps paving the way for cancel culture, how much more does that empower the Left if they ever get the office back... Click image for larger version.

    Exactly.

Pam Bondi stated that the federal government will “go after” Americans “if you are targeting anyone with hate speech.”
