Just saw this post on Faceplant and thought I'd pass it along for those who may be effected.

Xcel is planning to proactively shut off power in Adams, Boulder, Jefferson and east Denver county area to negate possible fire risk due to high winds. The plan is to start @ 11AM tomorrow (20Oct).
