Default It's time for my family to leave Colorado.... Moving to Idaho

Its time for my family to leave Colorado. I have lived in Colorado for the vast majority of my life. How this state has changed Politically, Legislatively, Socially and Population Density has gotten to what I consider as the point of no return. We are moving to Northern Idaho in the small town of Rathdrum. It sucks to leave Colorado as my wife and I have called it our home for half a century. But our only option at this point is to show our vote of displeasure by taking our $$$ to invest in the community and economy to Idaho. Sometimes voting with your Wallet is the only option left.

I hope that for my remaining Colorado friends that things will start to turn around for the better. Especially from a 2A Rights encroachment perspective. The current Colorado 2A Rights encroachment trajectory is looking endlessly grim

Keep up the good fight after others like me have had enough and Tapped Out.

I stayed in Wallace for a week once. It was very nice. I met a guy that worked in a silver mine and I saw a small gold mining operation in Murray. Good luck in Idaho.

CHA-LEE, good luck in Idaho! My wife and I came to the same conclusion a couple of years ago and bought a house a bit east of where you're heading. I think you'll like it, big change from Colorado.

Who are you showing your displeasure to with this grand gesture?

You think any leftist is going to miss you or reconsider their position because you ran away?

Are you generating enough revenue in the state that anyone will miss it as you "vote with you wallet"?

The only sure way to lose a fight is to run away from it.

The only sure way to lose a fight is to stay where you're outnumbered. It's why we left 8 yrs ago, so we didn't have to deal with the shit you're getting now.

As with use of deadly force, a real man knows when to walk away.
You can stay and worry which of your neighbors, or co-workers, will red flag you, or stopped at the range by some CA fudd who's kid with a 22 is triggered by you shooting more than 1 round per minute, calling in your lic plate to 911.

But hey at least you stayed .

Awesome, good for you! Last year when I changed jobs, I looked to do the same but it wasn?t in the cards at that time. I am still keeping my eyes open to head that way.

I will be right behind you, I’ve had it with CO. We are getting closer to retirement age and we won’t be here when we do.

Good for you!! We'd leave, but immediate family here, so we're staying "behind the lines" for a bit more...
