We are moving to Northern Idaho in the small town of Rathdrum. It sucks to leave Colorado as my wife and I have called it our home for half a century. But our only option at this point is to show our vote of displeasure by taking our $$$ to invest in the community and economy to Idaho. Sometimes voting with your Wallet is the only option left.

I hope that for my remaining Colorado friends that things will start to turn around for the better. Especially from a 2A Rights encroachment perspective. The current Colorado 2A Rights encroachment trajectory is looking endlessly grim

Keep up the good fight after others like me have had enough and Tapped Out.
It's a very beautiful area up there and congrats on the decision to move your lives forward. Lots of cool places to visit and the Canadian border is just a short drive away if you have a hankerin' for some Tim Horton's donuts! Get your carry permit then no more background check when you want to buy a gun...without any silly restrictions like magazine capacity and so forth. When I first moved up near Lewiston it was like moving back in time to the 60s in terms of how people acted. Free to pretty much do what you want without a lot of gov't interference. When I left some of the smaller communities still had gun shows in the school gym! Pretty awesome place. I wish you the best.

I love it here but agree the taxes and political climate have made it unbearable.

I just spent some time near Boise ID, its nice. Everything seems better there. I also was in Boseman MT, I like it there even more.

Hopefully I'll be leaving soon too, but likely not for at least 3 years.

best of luck to ya CHA-LEE. Hope the move brings ya much joy and happiness.
Like many I see the writing on the wall, this state is FUBAR and although my wife really is not interested in making a move out, that may all change if and when developers move in on the big ranch that our property backs up to out back. If a developer moves in and starts moving dirt, it won't take much to convince her that it is indeed time to move on. Hopefully I will be retired at that point, and we won't have anything holding us back.
Laws aren't "preventable" measures. IOW, more gun laws won't stop mass shootings.

Best of luck! If my older son and his kids weren?t here I?d be gone as well. I never knew either of my grandfathers and my sons only had my dad for a few short years. Being with them will keep me here and supporting any/all fights against our crappy legislation.

The more the Democrats do to Colorado, the less unhappy I am about the prospect of moving back home (Hawaii). If I have to put up with a socialist anti-gun government, at least I can do it in a place where I can pick fresh papaya or mango off the tree for breakfast.

Pueblo is not what I expected. Been here 20 years. Watch the video before you move here. I was living on ocean front property before moving here.

I was born in Pueblo, much of my family still there - it's tough to see what has happened... Most of my family has moved to Pueblo West to get further from the chaos...

You'll be right by Coeur D’ Alene. One of my best friends visited there a couple of months ago and fell in love with the place. I must admit, everything he said, plus the pics got both my wife and I thinking it might not be a bad place to live. But, as with others, kids and grandkids are keeping us here.

I wish you the best of luck and hope it's everything you hope it will be.

Keep in mind that Idaho has internet service too and you'll still be a few mouse clicks away from this site.

If standing up for my morals and refusing to continually have my 2A Rights eroded means I am "Running Away" then so be it. I have tried my best to fight for my rights, Vote, Pay my Taxes, and volunteer in the local community. At some point we all need to call the situation what it is based on the facts and track record, accept the loss and move on.

If others think that the current train wreck we call Colorado can be tuned around and made better in a meaningful manner, more power to you. I really do hope that this current sad state of affairs will improve. I am simply not willing to keep investing my $$$ and Time into a State that has been in a terminal nose dive for decades. You can Hope in one hand and Shit in the other then see which one fills up first.
