    Default CO tax

I can't lie, online companies that don't charge the new CO tax get my business. That is all.

You say that like we have a choice in the matter.
APEX had to do a bunch of work to comply with this Colorado law and to also collect sales taxes.
Its complicated and if we screw up the process there are penalties levied by the state.
We have already been thru Colorado state tax audits, so yes, the state pays attention.

The new Firearms Dealers Division (FDD) is also active with inspecting firearms dealers.
Why do you think so many shops are quitting or moving...
I have seen out of state companies that won't sell here because of the complexity / risks.
