    Default Sub-sonic 22LR

My Savage MKII is now a dedicated sub-sonic rifle.

I zeroed it at 50 yds and on a good day I will get 5 shots 1/2" groups at that distance with Federal AE Suppressor, 45gr.

When I say on a good day I mean that I do get quite some inconsistency in velocity, which, compounded by the low avg velocity of 948 fps, causes some serious flyers.
It is not uncommon to see a shot 1"-2" high or low from an otherwise quite nice group.

I know it is the ammo because there is a significant difference in the sound signature (what little of it there is).

Is that just the nature of the beast or are there more consistent sub-sonic loads on the market?
    Any recommendations?
