Haven't watched all the content surrounding this, but the bit I've seen looks really unclear.

So everyone is complaining about the state government, but nobody is coming out complaining about the executive immediately calling the guy a domestic terrorist and a justified shoot?

What the fuck happened to "We're in the process of investigating to determine what happened, and we'll have answers soon. If a mistake was made, we will hold appropriate parties accountable"?

If we're at the stage where every instance is immediately = "domestic terrorist" and a justified shoot without investigation, then some of what the protestors accuse the "right"* of may not be entirely inaccurate.

(*The people in the executive branch are not "right wing" - conservatives don't try to figure out how to issue arbitrary stimulus checks by EO, the party has been hijacked.)

    Yes, you have it.
We sped past that type of logical, let's establish the facts etc etc situation problem solving LONG AGO.

That ended with the Socialists being unable to counter Trump in a logical way nor understand/accept their failures to the American people.
So for years now anything Trump or his Admin has done is immediately racist, nazism etc etc
So yes, the Admin now is stuck responding in kind.

So what should happen is the MN Admin should openly state they want this turmoil to distract from getting caught in a huge money corruption fiasco.

Right now in Memphis ICE is working - quietly and efficiently- and with out shootings and riots-with the Officials there to deport illegal aliens.
And for years under Obama Millions were deported without ANY problems.

Why has the MN admin instead openly encouraged and promoted all this?
I feel bad for the dead, they didnt deserve this.
But they did become unknowing "victims" to try and save the skins of Waltz and his cronies.

PS: I'd argue that connecting these "protestors" to any sort of "logic" or understand the reality of their situation, as impossible.
They went WAY PAST any logical thought when they began to protest removing Illegal Alien rapists and murderers.
And even further if somehow this guy thought it was a good idea to come there armed and get into an altercation with the Federal Agents.
I think that is remarkably stupid.

The Dems have supposedly plan to reject any budget with funding to DHS or ICE. Deadline Jan 30, 2026.

I need to take a look at reruns and see just when the shots rang out compared to the "..Five Minuet warning to move out of the area.." warning was finally carried out, it was a tense situation.

What possesses people to wake up and decide that they should interfere with armed law enforcement arresting criminals?

Protest all you want, on the sidelines. Don't impede anyone's movement, law enforcement or civilian. Don't block traffic, dont bang on others property.

Yell, scream, whistle,, curse, film, all you want but dont impede, touch, spit on others.

Its really that simple to not get detained, arrested, injured or shot. The courts are where you fight, not the streets.

Gotcha. Instantly anyone receiving bullets in a federal LEO shooting is a domestic terrorist, because law enforcement never makes a mistake and never hires a shitty person.

We don't need to wait for any investigation to make pronouncements on guilt. Don't get mouthy, citizen, that's a capital offense.

Funny thing is, the admin wants even more. They are intentionally stoking a flame, and they have lots of people behing them that pull the rope and go "baaaaa".

You keep saying that the administration is driving all of this, but ignore the part where the local and state leadership of Minnesota have been constantly referring to this as a "war" with the federal government and trying their best to convince people that this is somehow comparable to 1930's Germany.

And you seem to have POTUS said yesterday that there will be a full investigation:

In a five-minute telephone interview with The Wall Street Journal on Sunday, Trump didn’t directly answer when asked twice whether the officer who shot Alex Pretti had done the right thing. Pressed further, the president said, “We’re looking, we’re reviewing everything and will come out with a determination.”

I think the biggest and most obvious sign that there's more going on here than government thugs murdering peaceful protestors is right in front of us:

ICE has been operating for months in every state with targeted operations just like Minneapolis occurring in more than a dozen states, and yet the only place where there is violence and people being shot seems to be Minneapolis.

Also worth noting that the head of ICE is the same guy who led ICE during the Obama administration and the number of deportations and voluntary returns shows some enlightening trends.

From 1990 - 2008, the number of voluntary returns (people who were identified as illegal aliens who voluntarily returned to their place of origin) spanned from 811k - 1.67M, with the average being about 1.2M per year. The same time period, deportations (involuntary removal based on a court order) started at just 30k in 1990 and grew to 360k in 2008.

During the Obama years, deportations remained pretty steady-ish between 325k - 430k/yr, but voluntary returns sharply dropped from 811k/yr to only 105k/yr.

Since 2021, clear statistics have not been published by the federal government, but from non-authoritative sources, it appears that deportations are rising back to Obama-era numbers. Oddly, during COVID, the gov started including people turned back at the borders as voluntary returns. Because of this, the number of voluntary returns spiked to over 1M every year, but that number isn't comparable to earlier stats because it include a huge additional pool of data.

Bottom Line: DHS is deporting people at about the same rate as under Obama, and the guy running ICE is the same guy. The turbulence we're seeing in Minnesota is 100% manufactured.
