Recipe for the Day
Marinated Venison
Ingredients
- 2 (or however much) pounds venison
- 1/4 bottle Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 bottle BBQ sauce of choice
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon onion salt
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- Some dillo dust, gunpowder, or other seasoning sauce/powder
- vegetable oil for frying
Directions
- Pound venison flat, (after pounding I like to take a fork and stab it.. helps tenderize) and cut into 1 inch strips; place in a large bowl. Pour in Worcestershire sauce and BBQ sauce/etc. Cover, and refrigerate for 1 hour or more.
- In a shallow bowl, combine flour, onion salt and garlic powder. Drag soaked meat through the flour mixture. Heat oil in a large heavy skillet, and fry meat until golden brown.
Serve with veggies (stirfry I like), taters, french bread, and ice cold beverage. Enjoy and thank BigBear!
