Would depend on the situation. If Denver was hit (nuke) by something I'd probably bug out, if it was something similar to 9/11 I'd probably stay put and ride it out. I'll put this out there as well:
Have predetermined meeting places. Since I live away from my family, should we decide to leave, we all know where to, and we have a backup to that.
ETA:
I'd prefer to stay in. The majority of my supplies are at home, I know the layout of surrounding area, I know where I can get supplies easily, and I have a better plan of how to defend it should the need arise. I think bugging out should be the option when your primary location (home) is compromised to the point where an unfamiliar place with limited resources is the best option.
