Had a PT145 for a long while, it was my CCW for most of that time. The two best things I did for it was to add some Williams Fire Sights to it and stipple the grip. Note on Stippling, the material is lighter than a Glock's polymer, so you have to run a hotter tip and go a bit slower so you don't punch through to the mag well.

Just ask Steve how it likes it, he bought mine! Well better yet, ask his better half how she likes it, as I understand it, he doesn't get to shoot it

Ryan, how has this gun been treating you so far?

I have a cousin that had a Hi-Point .45 that he loved to death. He went and bought a Millennium Pro .45 and went on and on about how much he hated it. He said the sights were way off. I never got a chance to shoot either one, so I don't know what was going on.

Anyway, I ask because I've heard less than stellar reviews of the Millennium Pro series, but I still want one.

Tons of complaints about the Heine Straight 8 sights on most Taurus guns. I never really got the hang of them, just ended of changing my POA when using it. That might have been the issue your cousin had.

I owned a Millennium Pro 145BP for about a year until I could sell to someone else. Couldn't get over the crappy trigger. If I would concentrate on each shot and slowly squeeze the trigger then it would shoot nice groups. If I tried to run through a mag shots would be all over and around the target. Trigger was supposed to be DA/SA but it felt like DAO only.
