    What would a furnace suitable for a 1400sqft house with a ~400sqft finished basement + installation run?

    When we had ours serviced a partial crack in the heat exchanger was discovered. House built in 1995 to give you an idea of the system/ducting that's in place currently.

    I need a gas line extension installed from the furnace room to behind the stove. Can you do this type of work?

    Yes and no. Yes I can run black pipe from your furnace room and stub it behind your stove, but most of the time people are using the flex gas line and I do not know how to use that. I know a plumber that does though.

    bryjcom just left. He installed a new furnace, humidifier, filter setup, and thermostat today. No problems; did clean work. I'll recommend his work.
